I am a therapist that specializes in helping women bridge the gap between their current circumstances and the life they have envisioned for themselves in tangible ways.
Not only we will create the space for you to reflect on what you have experienced, identify what is keeping you stuck, and explore new possibilities - we'll do this via an accelerated pathway. Why take six years to step into the life you want, when you can do this in six weeks?
My approach to therapy is about understanding the whole of who you are- mind, body, and spirit- so you can know what it means to show up fully and embrace your humanness with others and yourself.

As a licensed psychotherapist, I am bound by my ethical code to maintain the confidentiality and the privacy of my clients. Therefore, when I meet with my clients, I ensure that I am alone in my private home office. The system I use to complete the video sessions, Simple Practice, is HIPPA compliant and encrypted which provides the highest level of security.
Although this is the case, you are responsible for your privacy as well. It is important to plan for your sessions. I want you to be able to get the most from our time together. That means making sure you have a private place to have our session.

A computer, tablet, or phone with camera and microphone. If possible, make sure your device is eye level and stable so I can see you clearly.
Keep a charger handy in case your device has low battery during the session. You do not want a low battery to impact your time for growth!
Reliable internet connection. It is helpful to close all other windows using the internet or set yourself up for the session as close to your internet router as possible (if the space is confidential of course).
Adequate lighting so I can see you during the session.
Curiosity and willingness to explore what has brought you to therapy.

As great as technology is, sometimes it fails. If technology fails during our therapy session, the first thing that we will try is refresh the window for the video chat. If I return to the video portal and you do not return, I will give you a call at your preferred telephone number. We will troubleshoot if needed or we can continue the session by phone if it is appropriate.
